While always remaining dynamic and continuously encapsulating new triggers, he remains firmly rooted in techno. His sound is smoky and atmospheric and usually falls under the ambient techno subcategory. He often likes to mix in the reverberated sounds of dub techno and even some minimal influences.

Loukas, the person behind the Rotala project. Although a fresh face in the scene, he has been around as a bedroom DJ delivering legendary afterparties in his basement. For over a decade-long, Loucas, aka Rotala, has been shaping Cyprus' electronic soundscape as a sound engineer and providing quality sound for the local underground music scene. Equipped with technical prowess, Loucas navigates through deep, hypnotic, techno and acid house sounds. Rotala has been part of Honest Electronics since 2016, and he has been organising music events and festivals ever since. You can either find him jamming at his studio, making banging tunes or mixing spiral sounds of unpredictable patterns and interlocking grooves, encapsulating the unhinged energy of the Cypriot underground scene. As a core member of the Ultraviolet crew, Vladimir played a pivotal role in shaping the island’s dubstep and drum and bass scene.
